The 2022 Ford Expedition is the full-size SUV designed to deliver the capability you need. It comfortably accommodates up to eight passengers and can tow and haul an abundance of cargo. Pro Trailer Backup Assist™ 2.0 With Trailer Reverse Guidance
Available Pro Trailer Backup Assist™ 2.0 with Trailer Reverse Guidance makes backing up a trailer as easy as turning a knob. Enter a few measurements into the system, and the camera tracks the trailer position while your vehicle utilizes the 360-Degree Camera system to give you an improved view of the trailer and where it is headed.
Intelligent 4WD With Terrain Management System
Intelligent 4WD comes standard on Expedition 4x4 models. This easy-to-use Terrain Management System™ feature enables you to select from seven distinctive drive modes to help you automatically adapt to different road conditions: Drive mode, Sport mode, Tow/Haul, Sand, Mud/Ruts, Grass/Gravel/Snow and Eco for the most fuel-efficient setting. Expedition drivers also can manually select either 2WD or 4WD modes in a given drive mode, depending on their desire and the terrain.
Hill Start Assist
Hill start assist is a feature that automatically works with the anti-lock brakes to help hold your vehicle in place when it detects the vehicle is resting on a hill. It's designed to prevent your Expedition from rolling and the driver from having to quickly get their foot from the brake pedal to the gas pedal.

Hill Descent Control™
Available Hill Descent Control™ is essentially a cruise control system that uses traction control technology with anti-lock brakes. This system continually adjusts braking pressure to help control slippage and maintain a constant preset speed while you're going down a steep grade. This capability feature helps you concentrate on steering since you don't have to apply the brakes or downshift the transmission.

Expedition seats up to eight passengers with available third-row* power-reclining seats, available second-row tip-and-slide seats, and an abundance of second- and available third-row leg room. Expedition offers an available heated and ventilated second row with the option of a seven-seat second row with the bench seat option or choosing to use captain's chairs seating.
